The ICAI Foundation of Engineers for Development is a foundational non-profit organization, born ten years ago, which has mission to help the most disadvantaged people achieve decent living conditions, with the use of technology and with the as instruments of human development and social transformation.
Its objective is to provide the material, technical and human resources necessary to cooperate in the development of depressed populations offering solutions that meet three key characteristics: efficiency, impact and sustainability
They collaborate with other Foundations because you believe it is important to network and join efforts, share projects with them and working groups, and seek the collaboration of companies that are involved in their projects
Its main activity is in the areas of access to energy and water. Also on projects focused on the technologies of the information and technical training.
The last countries in which these projects have become a reality were: Benin, Burundi, Cameroon, Chad and Peru.
The Esperanza y Alegría Foundation was born in 2001 inspired by the spiritual principles of Mother Teresa of Calcutta. It is characterized by its commitment to disadvantaged people in vulnerable situations. Without distinction of origin, beliefs, ethnicities, cultures, races, or gender, it seeks to transform the poverty in self-sufficiency, promotes sustainable development and expands opportunities for people beneficiaries of their projects. Madre Coraje works in Spain, Peru and Mozambique for the development of impoverished populations with volunteers and partners committed to equality, the fight against injustice and respect for the environment. They carry out social actions in Spain for the social inclusion of groups in risk of exclusion and have devised new solidarity proposals for impoverished groups within our borders: Solidarity orchards, Affordable items... They launch Development Education initiatives to raise awareness and raise critical awareness among citizens of all ages in Spain. They send humanitarian material to Peru Children, women and men in exclusion and carry out projects to prevent and alleviate emergency situations. They take action in highly impoverished areas of Peru and Mozambique, impacting the economy, education and governance and citizenship.
ONGAWA is a Development NGO that has as its mission to put technology at the service of human development and the fight against poverty.
They have been working for twenty-seven years to make human rights to water and sanitation a reality in rural areas in countries such as Mozambique, Peru Nicaragua, Senegal and Tanzania. They do this side by side with communities and local governments so that the changes they achieve are reach the most vulnerable people and groups.
Non-profit entity whose objective is to eradicate Female Genital Mutilation. Its main area of action is Kenya and encompasses different lines of intervention:
- Education through educational campaigns in schools against Female Genital Mutilation.
- Infrastructure construction
- Star Welcome Home Gimenez: currently welcomes children who are particularly vulnerable.
- Empowerment of women, through microcredit programs.
- Scholarship program for girls through monthly fees.
His work in Spain focuses on awareness raising and fundraising.
The ALBOAN Foundation is the International Cooperation NGO of the Jesuits in the Basque Country and Navarra.
Since 1,996 they have been working for the construction of a global citizenship that denounces the injustices that cause inequality in the world, build a culture that promotes transform poverty-generating structures at the local and global levels. To achieve this, they network with individuals and groups around the world.
His work focuses on the following lines of action: a) access to quality education; b) sustainable economic development; (c) human mobility and coexistence; d) citizen participation and defence of HRDs; (e) sustainable management of Nature's assets; and f) gender equality.

The Action Geoda Foundation (AG) is a 100% voluntary foundation that since 2007 has been developing a project to support sustainable development in the province of AzilalHigh Moroccan Atlas. 100% of the revenue goes entirely to the realization of the projects. To date we have carried 17 water projects, including the 3 that we will be completed before the end of the year, 11 women's children's and literacy schools, 2 open medical dispensaries, 12 medical/dental caravans carried out and another 4 gynecological exclusively in addition to 2 female empowerment projects. In total we already help 38 villages in the valley Tessaout and 18,000 people. For 2019 we have in project 6 other villages with water, the opening of a new school and three other medical caravans.
Zerca and Away (Zyl) is an NDO that pursues social justice and the transformation of society through volunteering, awareness-raising and development cooperation International. We have been working since 2001 in Cameroon, in the Far North and South regions, and since 2016 in Peru, with the most vulnerable population with the aim of to satisfy their violated human rights.
They are a close network, mostly of volunteers, of any nationality, ethnicity and belief, jointly fighting for the dignity of people from the active participation and change in our lives. They work closely with local people, especially the indigenous population of the jungle of Cameroon and Peru. Your strategy is based on four interconnected and complementary pillars that, according to the United Nations, are necessary for integral human development: Water and Sanitation, Health, Education and Food Sovereignty.

Derandein Fundazioa is a Non-Governmental Development Organization established in 2007 with the aim of improving people's living conditions and Africa's most disadvantaged populations, defending and promoting human rights and gender equity.
Since its foundation, they have accompanied local organizations firmly installed in the regions where they work; organizations that know the problems they the local population, who build proposals to address these problems and ensure efficient management of resources for this purpose.
They work in Africa supporting the management of development cooperation and humanitarian projects. In the Basque Country, they have an impact on the essential work of awareness raising and education for development, shifting the realities of the African countries where we work and sowing the seed of respect and solidarity their people.
OAN International is an NGO that strives to improve the future of Nikki (Benin, Africa). Its differentiating value lies in a model of cooperation and empowering rural communities to generate sustainable development and improve their quality of life. With a focus OAN is run by college students and young professionals who are trying to return to the university school its role as a driver of change. To this end, it promotes relying on the help of students, offering a new way of understanding and equipping social value to their End-of-Degree and Master's Jobs.
Solidarity, Help and Union Crean Esperanza (SAUCE) is an NGO created by a group of friends to channel the desire to encourage, support and help Monsignor Kike Figaredo responsibility in Cambodia for those most in need. Manos Unidas is the NGO for the development of the Catholic Church and volunteers working, since 1959, in supporting the most needy peoples of the South and in the awareness of the Spanish population. Of the 570 projects supported in 2017, the mostly supported sector was education with 199 projects, followed by (114), health (110), social (79) and women's promotion (68). In addition to the commitment to education as a basis for development and agriculture sustainably, as a way to defend the right to community food, we increase efforts to support and support the population refugee in Southern countries, as in the case of Uganda, which hosts more than one million South Sudanese, or Jordan and Lebanon, where local partners are serving Syrian refugees and the most vulnerable local population. The Social Promotion Foundation is a private non-profit institution, which since 1987, through its programs and projects, tries to promote human development, in line with the dignity of the person.
