Construction of a well in Koubly, Benin

At Auara, we are working to combat the greatest form of poverty there is: the lack of clean drinking water.

CONTEXT

Northern Benin is one of the poorest and most vulnerable areas on the African continent. They lack infrastructure and basic services.

OBJECTIVES

  • Construction of a well for access to water for 250 beneficiaries.
  • Canalization for an irrigation system in the community garden.
  • Fencing of the orchard to protect fruits and vegetables.
