6 wells for vulnerable people

At Auara, we are working to combat the greatest form of poverty there is: the lack of clean drinking water.

CONTEXT

People with physical disabilities: These wells are intended for survivors of landmines, as well as those affected by polio or any other illness or accident.

Well for a school in a remote village: Remote villages are those that become cut off from the outside world during the rainy season, which lasts about seven or eight months.

People with intellectual disabilities: Helps improve cleanliness and hygiene for the entire family and household, and especially for the person with an intellectual disability.

OBJECTIVES

Our local partner proposes the construction of six wells for vulnerable populations: families with physical disabilities, schools in remote villages and families with intellectual disabilities.

The construction of the wells is carried out by companies with which they have already worked, ensuring their good execution.

Finally, the pumps that are installed have spare parts in the area, ensuring speedy replacement or repair.
