A warehouse at the Masaula School, Ludewa, Tanzania.

Background

Masaula schools are among the more than 25% of schools in rural Tanzania that lack access to safe drinking water. Pupils are forced to bring water from home and good hygiene habits are not possible.

Objectives

The project aims to supply safe drinking water to the school by piping water from the nearest water point to a tank that is installed on a tower built at a height that allows the water to reach the taps thanks to the force of gravity.
