Rehabilitation of 3 wells for schools

Background

Cambodia, a Southeast Asian country, is emerging from a period in its history marked by conflict and instability.

In the last two decades, it has experienced rapid economic growth. However, poverty continues to
a fundamental problem for the country, where the
most of its population lives on less than US$2 a day.

The majority of the Cambodian population lives in the countryside and 85% depend on small-scale agriculture, fishing and forestry assets for their livelihoods.

One in 10 Cambodians living in rural areas drinks water from surface sources.
