Background
Pailin is the province of Cambodia with the highest percentage of people with non-congenital disabilities (especially due to anti-personnel mines and disabilities developed after birth due to unhealthy conditions or lack of preventive treatment) and the second with the worst nourished population in the country. Being disabled in a developing country like Cambodia, where most jobs are physical, hampers the development of an economic activity, condemning the entire family to social exclusion.
Objectives
The project supports 10 families through the construction of 10 bathrooms. Thanks to these beneficiaries have better hygienic conditions and reduce the diseases resulting from lack of hygiene.
This project has resulted in 47 people having access to latrines.
