AUARA and El Corte Inglés: together to build a well in Benin

Thanks to the sale of 300,000 bottles in El Corte Inglés stores over the course of a year, we will be able to build a well in Poussouloute, Benin, which will provide 2.7 million liters of drinking water for more than 750 people.
In this rural region, the main means of subsistence is a precarious agrarian economy. But due to the lack of resources, harvests are not always sufficient and families must resort to rural exodus and the sale of their daughters to survive.
The construction of this well is a big change:
The project will be carried out thanks to the collaboration on the ground of the Alaine Foundation, a Benin-based NGO dedicated to international development cooperation.
