This hand-engraved handicraft of solidarity by María ÁlvarezThe Christmas 2021 Limited Edition, which will generate 37,000 litres of water per year, will enable 2,500 people in the Mangily Educational and Environmental Centre in Madagascar to have access to clean drinking water.

The "37,000 litre jug" of 100% recycled glass is handmade in fair trade workshops in Zanzibar from other bottles, so we empower young people by offering them a trade and we also take care of the environment by encouraging recycling.

In Madagascar, 1.5 million people are suffering a severe food crisis and several dozen people have already died of starvation. An unprecedented drought, which has destroyed almost all crops, is the main culprit.
