In addition to this, there is the fact that they do not have access to safe sanitation in schoolsThis, together with the family's lack of financial means, makes these young women choose to stay at home, especially during the days of menstruation, increasing the probability of dropping out of school and therefore from suffering female genital mutilation, child marriage or early pregnancy.
Construction of school latrines in the Ciokereke educational center, with a focus on promoting the right to health for all girls in the region, Kenya.
This initiative will be complemented by a 2,000 liter water tank of capacity to ensure feminine hygiene and prevent childhood illnesses.
With these actions, basic rights are guaranteed to minors, adolescents and young people in Kenya, mainly girls, related to the coverage of basic needs and the protection and physical integrity for those cases of minors and adolescents at risk of suffering female genital mutilation.
