Background

The schools are located in rural areas, in remote villages in the northwest of Cambodia, lacking any kind of infrastructure.

During the rainy season they are practically cut off and during the dry season they have difficulty accessing water. The children are responsible for carrying water to their homes, which prevents them from attending school.
